Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)

Introduction to Manitoba PNP

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is a program that helps skilled immigrants and their families come to live and work in Manitoba, Canada. The MPNP was established in 1998 and has been very successful in attracting new immigrants to the province. In recent years, the MPNP has welcomed over 4,000 immigrants to Manitoba each year.

Manitoba PNP Overview

The MPNP offers two main types of immigration streams: base streams and enhanced streams. Base streams are not linked to the Express Entry system, which is a system that manages applications for permanent residency in Canada. Enhanced streams are aligned with Express Entry and give candidates who are nominated by the MPNP additional points in their CRS score. This makes it more likely that they will be invited to apply for permanent residency.

The MPNP is a great option for skilled immigrants who are looking to start a new life in Canada. The program has a high success rate, with 90% of provincial nominees finding employment within the first year and 90% of immigrants remaining in Manitoba after five years.
